Had my big toenail permanently removed after years of trouble.
First, he scares me and tells me I may have a tumor under my nail. Then he X-Rays and finds out it’s nothing, just where the nail curved.
THEN he injects me with the stuff to numb it, which was unbearable. The worst pain I’ve ever experienced. And of course he doesn’t put enough in the first time so he has to do it again and again. Finally he starts cutting into my nail and rips it out. Then applies the phenol to the nail bed to burn the nail matrix so it doesn’t grow back. SOMEHOW he messes this up, so now here I am 8 months later with a deformed brittle chunk of nail growing on my nailbed. It’s extremly sore and refuses to completely heal. It’s a mess! And it’s all because this genius didn’t take his time and do a good job!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! SEE SOMEONE ELSE!
The nice office is a facade.
Now I have to go see someone else to stab me with needles and rip this nail out again.
